Employee Health Risk Assessment
A Health Risk Appraisal (HRA) is a confidential standardized questionnaire instrument that isdesigned to assess an individual's current lifestyle habits and choices. It compares their profile to a database of the North American population and identifies steps that the respondent can take to enhance their current health status. HRA's forecast the projected future morbidity of a respondent based on current lifestyle behaviours. An aggregate group summary is produced from the anonymous individual data.
This assessment is available online in both French and English.
| Outcome: |
A confidential individual HRA for each individual who participates; along with a Corporate Report that summarizes the aggregate results of the individual HRA's, with an interpretation of the findings.

Employee Needs Assessment
A Needs Assessment is a questionnaire that has been developed by HSG with its clients over the last 30 years, to access an employee population's interest and attitudes about a specific organizational issue, such as corporate fitness and wellness programs. HSG’s boilerplate survey can be customized to meet a client’s specific needs.
The creation of each Needs Survey is accomplished by working with a designated group of operational stakeholders within the client organization to design a tailor-made Survey for that organization.
| Outcome: |
A Report that summarizes the results of the survey, along with Interpretive Analysis and Recommendations for Action.
|
Workplace Culture Assessment
HSG’s Assessment of Workplace Culture is a survey of an organization’s workplace culture in the areas of leadership, working environment, employee acknowledgement, meaningful employee participation, supervisory support, job clarity, fairness, work/life balance, and social support. Although employee satisfaction is measured, this is not the primary purpose of the survey.
The survey also measures the Stress Satisfaction Offset Score, and the Business Health Culture Index.
The assessment can be done manually, by computer, or via the Internet.
| Outcome: |
A Report that summarizes the aggregate results of individual respondents, along with an Interpretive Analysis and Recommendations for Action.
|
Key Stakeholder Interviews
HSG conducts a series of one-to-one focused and confidential interviews with an organization’s "key stakeholders" to explore the feasibility of an initiative in Corporate Health. The interviews are designed to provide a realistic cultural and organizational "context" within which potential health solutions can be successfully implemented by the organization.
(Note: This is rarely used as a stand-alone product, but is a recommended step before the implementation of any Corporate Health program.)
| Outcome: |
A Report, which summarizes the aggregate results of the individual interviews, along with an Interpretive Analysis and Recommendations for Action.
|
Evaluating Program Results
