Controller
General Description
The Controller of the Centre is responsible for the financial reporting and control of assets. The Controller is a member of the management team and as such, assists in the formulation and implementation of policy and procedures for the Centre.
Roles
- Member Service
Ensures that positive and professional service is provided to all members and prospective members - Financial Reporting and Asset Control
Ensures the accurate reporting of financial results and the protection of company assets
Maintains the general ledger and all related functions
Ensure that the member management system contains accurate membership data

Coordinator, Personal Training
General Description
The Personal Training Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the delivery of quality personal training services for members. They are also responsible for implementing a comprehensive New Member Integration process at the Center, and ensuring the implementation of a quality fitness assessment and program consulting experience, with a focus on selling personal training services.
The Coordinator, Personal Training is also responsible for the achievement of individual and team sales targets for the Personal Training Services.

Fitness Consultant
General Description
The Fitness Consultant is responsible for implementing member fitness appraisals, conducting the follow-up program consultations, and advising members about the Centre's program offerings. The Consultant also supervises the Exercise Areas, as directed; and is responsible for achieving their individual sales targets for Personal Training Services.

General Description

General Description

General Description

General Description
The primary focus of this role is to manage the Group Exercise Class Program ensuring that it meets the varying needs of the members and the client. The coordinator is also responsible for assisting with the effective and efficient operation of the Centre and its programs.

General Description

Wellness Coordinator
General Description
The Wellness Coordinator is accountable for ensuring the implementation of the Wellness Program plan in conjunction with the HSG program support team and the client’s in-house Wellness Committee.
The Wellness Coordinator is responsible for the direct delivery of specified programs/interventions; as well as the coordination/supervision of supplementary program contractors.

The Mount Pleasant Club is a 10,000 square foot corporate fitness centre located on the Rogers Communications campus at Bloor and Jarvis in downtown Toronto. We are managed by Health Systems Group, a leader in employee fitness management. We are staffed Monday - Friday 7 a.m. - 7 p.m.
As a staff member, we require someone who, first and foremost, has a passion for health and wellness. A strong desire to work with people, exceptional customer service skills and attention to detail are requirements of this position. Possessing or working towards a degree or diploma in Fitness/Kinesiology is a requirement. Holding certifications in Personal Training, Fitness Instruction, and Fitness Assessment Protocol (Certified Fitness Consultant) is highly recommended.
Job responsibilities include: equipment and Club orientations, exercise programming & fitness assessments, administration/registering new members, bulletin board and incentive design and implementation, ongoing customer service and light club “upkeep” and maintenance.
